Where the relevant consent has been requested, processing is carried out solely on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s terminal equipment, for example device fingerprinting, within the meaning of the TDDDG. Recipients of personal data

As part of our business activities, we work with various external bodies. In some cases, it is also necessary to transfer personal data to these external bodies. Data sent to us in contact enquiries remains with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies, for example after your request has been fully processed. Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular statutory retention periods, remain unaffected.

Font Awesome (local hosting)

This website uses Font Awesome for consistent presentation of fonts. Font Awesome is installed locally. No connection to the servers of Fonticons, Inc. is made.

Twitch sign-in

You may choose to sign in to this website with your Twitch account. When you select Twitch sign-in, you are redirected to Twitch. The provider is Twitch Interactive, Inc., 350 Bush Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Twitch processes your data under its own responsibility. Further information is available in the Twitch Privacy Notice.

After successful sign-in, this website processes the data provided by Twitch: email address, email-verification status, profile picture, preferred username, and a sign-in token. This data is used exclusively to verify the sign-in and provide the requested account features. The sign-in token and account data are stored in your browser’s local storage and can be removed by signing out or through your browser settings. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Cloudflare

For security purposes, this website uses the service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

The provider protects the website and its associated IT infrastructure against unauthorised third-party access, cyberattacks, viruses, and malware. We collect users’ IP addresses and, where applicable, further data relating to your behaviour on our website, in particular accessed URLs and header information, in order to detect and defend against illegitimate access and threats. The collected IP address is compared with a list of known attackers. If the collected IP address is identified as a security risk, the provider may automatically block it from accessing the website. The information collected in this way is transferred to and stored on the provider’s server.

The described data processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interests in protecting the website from harmful cyberattacks and in maintaining its structural and data integrity and security.

We have concluded a data-processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our website visitors’ data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the United States, the provider participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.
